Here we are again! We hope you had a happy and healthy summer break and a great first week back in September. Welcome to our new teachers and teachers taking on a new class. If you are on Zoom or in-person, we hope you have a wonderful school year with your classes. Remember to read and re-read the email from Carolyn under the subject “LINC and ELT Classes 2025”


You will find the following information and 6 attachments:

  1. LINC Class Schedule 

  2. Instructor Handbook

  3. LTSS Instructor Handbook Signatures– Should have been submitted by Sept 10.

  4. Learner Expectations -   Students must sign these, so it’s good to review with students.

  5. 2025 - 2026 Non-teaching days 

  6. Sept 2025 - Supply Teachers List


Though it’s only the first week of September, it’s never too early to start keeping track of your PBLA real world tasks and assessments.  Set up your assessment tracking log, and that way it will be easy to keep track of evidence in time for the reporting period in January! For lower levels, use “greetings and introductions” and have the students respond to you or a classmate and use it as an assessment! With higher levels if you did any “getting to know you interviews” and had students introduce a classmate to the class – that is a RWT! So, make a note of your students’ progress and put it in the log. 


Also, since we should also be using Avenue with our students, please remember to check out any updates posted by Danielle.
