Oh Joy, it's June!
We made it! We are in the homestretch and the finish line is in sight! The end of May and beginning of June are usually the busiest time for us, as it is reporting time. With reports and conference summaries due today, hopefully you can take a sigh of relief next week, the last week before the summer.
Please remember to check out the updates from our resident Avenue expert – Danielle!
Though June marks the end of the school year for many of us, many students will be continuing to summer classes. Next week or even in summer classes, some possible topics of discussion are summer, leisure activities, travelling, and tourist attractions in Ontario and Canada Day. Also, on June 21 we have National Indigenous Peoples Day and Father’s Day.
If you didn’t know, there is an app for newcomers to Canada which gives a lot of perks such as free admissions to different tourist attractions. You can check out the link for more information:

Whether you are taking a much-deserved summer off or planning to teach a summer class, we hope you all have a happy, safe and relaxing summer!
