Welcome Back and Welcome to Fall!
Hard to believe that we are already a month into classes and we’re at the beginning of fall. This is such a beautiful time of year with the leaves changing colours and sweater weather starting.
There are a lot of fun topics to cover at this time. Of course, we have Thanksgiving and Halloween and your students may like learning about Fall Foliage and why leaves change colour at this time of the year. There are also some great fall family activities such as apple and pumpkin picking, corn mazes, and scenic tours to enjoy the fall colours. We also have more serious topics at this time of year such as; Orange Shirt Day, National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Remembrance Day. Haleema shared some resources that she found on Tutela and Ellii always has ready-made lessons.
